1. FORWARD THIS EMAIL!

In an effort to improve communication throughout the SEFSA organization, we are asking you to FORWARD THIS EMAIL! That’s right, forward away to anyone who is a SEFSA member but, whom you know is not currently registered to receive announcements. We will be using our new eNews services to streamline the distribution of information concerning news, events and weather updates including game cancellations. Remember, you may sign up more than one address, so be sure to submit your home and work email addresses and be assured, we will never trade, sell or otherwise spam your address. 2. New Website Launched

The Sioux Empire Fastpitch Softball Association has launched an improved website. Among the list of improvements are better layout, navigation and new search feature. Content will be continuously added to create an even better user experience. Keep checking back for new features!

3. Calendar of Events

We’ve added a Calendar of Events which will be updated as information becomes available. The Event Calendar can be browsed by choosing the blue ‘Calendar’ button at the top of the page or by choosing the ‘Calendar of Events’ link in the menu on the right.

4. Photo Gallery

We’ve also added the beginnings of a Photo Gallery to the website. This service is still being developed and bugs are still being worked out. To browse the gallery, choose the ‘Photo Gallery’ link in the menu on the right.

Do you have some photos to be posted? Use the ‘Register’ link at the top right of the Photo Gallery page to submit a request for registration. Or, you can email your photos to webmaster@sefsa.org and they will be posted for you. Be sure to include descriptions, dates etc for all photos. If you have hard-copies and need them scanned, let us know and we will import them for you!

5. RSS Feeds

RSS files provide news updates from the SEFSA website in a simple form for your computer. You read these files in a program called an aggregator, which collects news from various websites and provides it to you in a simple form. If you already have a My Yahoo! or My MSN account, then this service is for you!

The advantages of RSS are quite simple: They save time and bandwidth. Instead of remembering to visit the SEFSA web site, the news comes directly into your computer daily or at whatever interval you want.

Our RSS feed is intended to compliment our other eNews services, use both and never be out of the loop again!
