Who We Are

Thank you for your interest in Sioux Falls Fastpitch Softball! The Sioux Empire Fastpitch Softball Association (SEFSA) is a nonprofit, ASA sanctioned, organization for youth fastpitch softball. We have programs for boys and girls ages 4-16 and for girls ages 17-18 years old.

Description of Age Groups:

• Co-Ed: Mixed genders, coaches pitch, no score is kept, no outs, just having fun and learn how to hit and catch along with learning where the ball should go.
• 6 to 7 yr olds: Gender separated, pitching machine throughout league, score is kept, learns the fundamentals of softball (hitting, catching, learning where to throw the ball). Umpires available.
• 8 yr olds: Gender separated, kids pitch, coaches pitch after 4 balls, score is kept, no stealing. Umpires available.
• 9 to 10 yr olds: Gender separated, kids pitch, score is kept, stealing allowed for all bases execpt home. Walk after 4 balls, umpires available.
• 11 to 18 yr olds: Gender separated, kids pitch, score is kept, stealing allowed for all bases including home, walks after 4 balls, umpires available.
