SEFSA Player registration for co-ed 4/5 year old through 18U divisions is closed for the 2019 season!
Registration for the Women's Division (players 18 years of age and older) is still open - register by going to the "Player" webpage.
Coaches meetings for the 2019 season will be held at the new SEFSA office at 605 S. Watson Avenue, Suite 100, Sioux Falls, SD 57106 on the following dates:

SEFSA requires that every person who intends to work directly with our players complete a background check PRIOR to league practices or games. All coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, and book keepers must submit a background check. A good "rule of thumb" is if you plan on being in the dugout with the team, we need a background check.
USA National Softball has changed its protocol to ensure the protection and safety of our youth. Background checks are now completed and paid for on-line through a provider sanctioned by USA Softball. The cost is $10 per back ground check - SEFSA does not cover this charge.
All SEFSA coaches are encouraged to complete the ACE certification but coaches 10U through the Women's division are highly encouraged to complete the on-line ACE training. The cost is $25 for "first time users" and $20 for all others. The ACE certification includes a background check. ACE certification has a "Safe Sport" component that you have to complete so please allow a few hours to complete this training. SEFSA does not cover the cost of the ACE certification.
Please use the link below to set up your USA account which will allow you to complete your ACE certification and/or complete the mandatory background check. Have your credit/debit handy as you will need to pay online to complete the process. After you have completed the ACE certification or background check, you must print off the receipt/confirmation page and bring it to the coaches meeting in April or email it to Sefsareg@gmail.com. You will not be allowed to have contact with your team/players until this documentation is received.
Please review the SEFSA "Team Classification Rules" to learn how to accurately classifying your team as A, B, or Rec division. It is important that each coach register his/her team in the most appropriate division so players can get the best experience possible. 2019 SEFSA team pictures will be taken on Tuesday, May 7th and Thursday May 9th from 5pm - 9pm both evenings at the new SEFSA office located at 605 S. Watson Avenue, Suite 100, Sioux Falls, SD, 57106.
You must schedule a time for your team to have their pictures taken by clicking on the link below and signing up for a date/time that works best for your team.

If your team needs to re-schedule a league game, the two coaches need to contact each other and choose 2 potential make-up dates that work for both teams. Email those dates to firstname.lastname@example.org and SEFSA will line up a field and umpires for one of the dates. Dates must be submitted and finalized within 72 hours of the requested make-up dates.
